I am a recent adventurer into segmented work and find it facinating. It really streches my mind. Being a senior citizen, I need that.
I particularly like the ‘Star Platter’ and feel I would like to have a go.
I do not get sound with the vidio clips. I am not sure if this is meant to happen. But living in the UK I guess sound has a long way to travel. Ha, Ha.
So for this reason can we have some more detailed text.
Thanks, Dave
I also really like your star platter and I was hoping maybe you would share some kind of plan or angles used. Thanks a lot and a great site.
I’am Interested in your Jig to cut star Angles & order of Assembly
thanks Brad

Hi Neil
I am waiting for the complete steps involved on your star plate. Even if you did something up on a dvd I am sure many would buy them. It is certainly a very nice piece and I enjoy looking at all your work. Now Mac says you have a centering jig for segmented rings. This would also be of interest to many.

I see you’re quite inventive yourself. Great job on the cutting sled!!! You should do a post on this alone!
Do you have plans for this plate avail.? or the plans for your table saw jig?
Thanks
Love the piece!!!!

I am new to wood turning. I have only made a couple of items. This segmented turning is what really got me started……
Your Star plate is just aw-some. I wonder if you have a plan or something that a newbie like myself could copy…… I have a good idea about how to proceed. but any help would be grateful.
I love the star platter. Would you be willing to share the angles used and other details? I see the jig you made with various angles but don’t have the patience or the skill to try to figure it all out.
Thanks,
Andy
